Hiroshima: View of the reborn city today

Subject

Daily Life; Geography-Cityscapes

Description

Hiroshima today is a vibrant city, as seen in this image taken at the east end of the Peace Bridge across the Motoyasu river. The Peace Memorial Museum is just several hundred meters away, near the other end of the Peace Bridge, and the A-bomb Dome, near the center of the A-bomb explosion, is perhaps half a mile up the river from the site where this photograph was taken.
